- A strong man: - A certain man named Seán Mór was going to Ennis market with a cart load of potatoes.
It made a big frost the night before. When he came to a place called Barry’s hill near Rockforest the horse failed to pull the load up the hill. He being angry took the horse from the car, went between the shafts put the back- band on his shoulders and never drew a bridle until he had the cart load of potatoes on the hill. He then put the horse to the cart and set off for Ennis.Collected by: - Tomás Hawes, Roughan,
Told by: - John Hawes, his father.
