  2. Thomas Burke is a famous bone setter and people come to him from all over Ireland to get bones fixed.

    Michael Comyn of Kilcorcoran was a great poet, and he composed many songs and poems such as Oisín í dTír na n-Óg.

    Tom Hayes was a famous teacher and he got a map of Ireland by Browne and Nolan.

    Anthony Hennessy of Church Road was a great jig reel and hornpipe dancer.

    Martin Honan of the Flag Road was a great stone mason.

    Jerry Courtney of the Ennistymon Rd was a very strong man. He could reap a quarter of oats in an hour.
