Kilcorcoran :Aged about 82 yrars- MermaidsOnce there was a mermaid in Freigh. A man went up one night and saw her sitting on the rocks combing her hair. The man went down on the rocks and when he was half way out he fell and got hurt. He got up and looked around but the mermaid was gone. He turned home and night came. He went to bed and fell asleep. When morning came his father called him and he got no answer.
