    It is a cure for warts to steal a bit of meat from your neighbour and while the meat would be rotting the wart would be rotting also.

    The old people held that nine irons to rub them to a wound or ache each of the irons once cured it.

    People drink soot for a stomach pain.

    Then when the old people would be in trouble this is what they would say:
    " Is goire cabhair Dé na an doras "

    There was an old man there once that used to say to his wife:
    " Musha Mary throw the coat hether on me the cold of the country is above on my back ".
