    I was told the following story by a man. "The Wild Goose Lodge is situated on the South side of Ardee.

    A Protestant named O Rourke betrayed the Catholics. He followed them one night and informed the soldiers. They raided these poor people and butchered every one including the priest, who was afterwards found stabbed in the back.

    Taffaginny's Court is situated about four miles north west of Dundalk. A certain landlord owned the district surrounding this court.
