There was a little bush in the middle of the field and he brought them up to it and out jumps the hare and the two dogs went after her until they were tired out. Then the let out the other dog & the little boy shouted the black dog is out and when she heard the boy she jumped the hedge and ran into the house but the little boy was only a fairy and also was the hare.
- It is said that from Castletown Mount over to Jones's fort there is a tunnel and the entrance is covered with a large stone and that it was used and made by the Danes when they came to Ireland. Nobody ever tried to seek the entrance because it is guarded by the fairies and they have the inside(continues on next page)
