- Every night when going to bed people wash their feet to ease them.
In olden times people did not wear boots until they were twenty-one years of age.
Clogs were worn locally long ago. Old men or children never wore boots they always wore clogs.
There are two shoemakers in this district. If anyone had a pair of boots they did not want they would send them to the shoemaker to get clogs made out of them.
Children go to school in Summer in their bare feet.
Clogs are not worn now but they used to be worn locally and made locally long ago.
There are no people in this district who never wore boots.
There are less cobblers in this district compared with what there used to be.
There is a shoemaker in Reastown, his name is Frank Cassidy. The leather was not made in the district at any time.
