    time. When a farmer was going to the fair with a pig he would tie arope round his leg, and if he had more than one he would tie them together.
    2. When a man buys a cow he marks it with a raddle, in the old time they had no raddles and they marked the cattle with mud.
    3. Also when making a bargain they would spit on each others hands.
    Every thing would be sold at the fair and it would be bigger than the fairs we have to day.
