the sign of a fine day.
When you see the sheep lying contentedly together in the morning it is a sign of a fine day. If they begin to eat early in the morning it is the sign of a wet day. When the smoke comes out of a chimney real straight it is the sign of fine weather.
If there is a ring around the moon it is also the sign of a storm.
When the hills and mountains seem far away we are going to have fine weather.
