  2. There was a night school at Cannistown and at Garlow Cross. Grown ups used to go to them. Johney Jackson was a man who went to the night school at Garlow Cross. There is also another old school in Skryne. It was a day school. It is still to be seen at the top of Skryne hill. I do not know any of the teacher's names who taught in them.
