- There is a well in Co. Cavan, called Tobar lene Mace and it cures bronchitis and bad-stomach.
There is a lough called Lough Ruad on the Lough Crew estate that cures the Rose which breaks out in a red lump and a boy has to rise the water for a girl and a girl to rise the water for a boy.
