- About a well
There is a well near Summerhill. It is called the Moy well. Long ago the people say that St Bridget was to be seen every night at it. One night when she was standing at it. A man passed by. His name was Fagan. She asked him where he was going he said. He was going to the church. She appeared to the man. He was walking away and he could not move. She came back again and she said that where ever there is a family called Fagan there will be always a fool.I got this story from my granny
