    escaped. The soldiers chased after him but he jumped the river Boyne and they lost him.
    There was a sports in Donore, Hill-of-Down, some time after and there were government spies present at the sports. There was a long jump, a high jump and several other competitions.
    All this time Treacy was on "the run" but he was at the sports. There were some great jumpers there but none of them could excel Treacy. he beat them easily. When the spies saw the great jumper they knew their man. They immediately arrested him and he was later hanged in Trim.
