- On our farm there are a lot of Animals. There are cows, horses, pigs. There is also a great number of fowl, such as, hens, turkeys, geese, ducks.
When you are calling a cow, you say "Puggy, Puggy, Puggy." Cows are milked twice each day, morning and evening. In Winter they are put in at night. A house is got ready for them. There is a manger put at the cows head for hay. They are put seperately with a half-partition between. On the right-hand corner of each division there is a kind of box put for extra that the cow gets. When you are milking and that the cow kicks your say "Therish petty" or "Poor Sucky".
When you are calling a horse you say "Phew, Phew, Phew." A horse works on the land. He(continues on next page)- Collector
