- There is said to be a hidden treasure in the moat of Killallon in Mrs Kennedy's field. There is a door on some part of the moat and you could open it in a half an hour. One of the Kennedy's got a crobar and began proding it on the top of the moat. When he was prodding the moat the crobar went and he heard the gold rattling and vessels. Also there are guns in the moat too.Collected by Michael Gerrard, Gibbenstown, Crossakiel, Co. Meath.told by Patrick Cahill, Shanco, Donagoran, Co. Meath
