- (continued from previous page)was blown off many sheds. The farmers lost a great number of their cattle and sheep.
- There was a great storm on the 24th of Feb 1903. It was very strong and it blew down several things. There was a big wood in Clonyn and half the trees were down the next morning. There were several houses blown down and there were several cattle sheep and lambs killed. The roofs of galvanised sheds were carried away and were found miles and miles away. There was a lot of destruction down to the farmers also. Their hay that they had in cocks in their yards(continues on next page)
