- There is a cross at our house where a man fell off a horse and he was killed, and there was a cross put there and box wood, the cross is there yet and it is rotten but on one touthes it. There is a cross on the Kilskyre road where a Priest was killed. There are very old stones in Clonarney Churchyard. There is a cross on the Athboy road where two men were killed going to Athboy with a load of Timber, Rochford and Connel were their names. There was a sidecar comming down the road and the man that was in it was Davin. He was not able to see the road he was so drunk and he was cheering.
