   rheumatism, headaches and toothaches. When the person suffering from the disease goes to the well he says the Rosary twice and takes a drink of the water. There is also a little wall in which people put certain objects, such as, money, pins, buttons and other things. We are told that if anyone took those relics that they would take the sickness which the person had, who was cured. There is also a cup hanging on the wall out of which the people drink the water. We are told that a man cut an ash tree at this well once and when he went the next day to bring it home it was growing again.

   The day fixed for paying visits to this well is the twenty-ninth of June but some people pay visits to it on other days. Some years ago a woman brought in water from this well to boil it but when she put it on the fire it would not boil. People have great regard still for this well
