    round his neck seen at Willowfield back gate frequently. Several people were terrified by its appearance.
    One person in particular told me her experience. She was passing there one night with a few friends. Just as they were passing the gate, they heard the rattle of a chain and this dog passed out by them.
    The could see him plainly. He was black and much bigger than any ordinary dog.
    He went on a short distance before them and then disappeared. They often passed the same way at a similar hour but never saw him again.
    There was a ghost in Reynells yard some years ago. Nothing could be seen but all kinds of noises heard as if everything in the place was being smashed and flung around every where.
    Yet when the people used to get up in the mornings everything was in its right place and nothing at all broken.
