    I remember some strange incidents ...

    walk, happened to detain Mrs Costelloe to talk on that evening. The women's chat indirectly caused the boy's drowning. It seems Margaret Mary Cleary was greatly affected by the accident as she entered an American Convent very shortly after the drowning incident. It seems that only for the kindness of the Franciscan Fathers from Adam and Eve's Church, Merchant's Quay, Dublin, poor Mrs Costelloe would have lost her reason. Mrs Costelloe still resides at 17 Merchants' Quay, Dublin.
