  1. The Fauxberries? lived at one time in the Big house of Mosstown. One night a grey horse of theirs looked in through the window at them. They could not understand how he had got out of the stable. He looked in a second time. As some of the men were about to go out, a witch dressed in white appeared at the window. She shouted "Dont go out yet" "Dont go out yet". After a time they went out and found the horse safe and sound in his stable, tied just as he had been left early in the evening.
