- Once there was a man whose name was Doolan and he went to steal a bundle of hay out of Twyford one morning about four o'clock. When he had the bundle on his back and about to start with it a man with a big long pole out of his chin appeared to him. So he put the pole on the bundle of hay and Doolan could not stir.
