- There is a track of two knees in a rock in Annagh with water in them.There is a story told of how those tracks came to be there. When St Patrick was in Ireland he went up to Mount Temple. When he got there the people ran him out of it; he ran until he came to Annagh where he had to jump a river. When he jumped the river he fell on a rock and made the track of his knees on it. When he fell he said "Woe be to Caulry"Warts are cured at this well. Anyone who wishes to be cured must go three times and say three Hail Marys and make the sign of the cross on the wart with the water. They also have to put something in the well such as a pin or a penny. Anyone who takes one thing out of this well will get covered over with warts that very moment.
