Fairy Forts

In the townsland of Ballycloughduff and in the parish of Drumraney there is a field belonging to Mr O'Roarke and there is a fairy fort in it. A man named Joseph Buckley went out on this fort and cut down bushes to fence. In a short period after, some of his stock died. An old story in connection with forts is, "What never touches you never go near it especially forts."
