    in it and water in it, and if you have a wart, dip it in the water and it will go away. Another cure for a wart is to crawl through a hole in a tree.
    There is a milky substance in a dandelion which is a cure for a wart. If a person had warts long ago, they cut as many knots out of straw as the number of warts they had. Then the person threw them on the road and if another person picked them up, all the warts would go away. A stone accidently boiled with potatoes is a remover of warts.
    Boxwood bark was used for headaches by putting the bark on the forehead. People go to Holy wells to get the water to cure headaches. The best way to cure a sore throat is by putting sliced onion in a covered vessel with a liberal coating of sugar between the slices.
    Snow water and ointment made from the elder tree was a cure for a burn.
    Goose grease was used for healing burns.
