I was told that on Palm Sunday a piece of blessed palm is hung over the cows the cows for luck. On the eve of twelvth day rush candles are burned and the buts of the candles stuck in cow-dung and left over the door of the cowhouse for luck. - We have one horse athome and his name is Bob. When driving the horse we say "hop off". Our stable is narrow, able to accomodate one horse. At the head of the stable there is a manger.
