He got a place for each family in Kilrea and he made a settlement with them. They were glad to get out of the grave-yard as there was a boy and girl drowned beside them a few days before that. They left by means of a cot. Doppin thought he would be made up with the Island for grazing but such grass never grew on the Island once the families left.
