    windows only a bag and in the daytime the bag was taken out to allow the light to come in. The floors were made of clay. The half-doors are not very common now but there were common in olden times. Turf was used for the fire and when the people had no turf they used sticks. The bog-deal splinters and resin candles were used for light and they were made at home.
