    bell rang he was brought into the chapel he said mass and Mr Whitty served it. When mass was finished he smiled at the man and bowed as much as to say "Thank you" he disappeared. Mr Whitty was nothing the worse for his experience.
    Tom John and Peg Mackeral Knockea were very religious and went to mass daily while they were able. We know nothing of the poor scholars only what was related in the Hedgeschool Essay. There are no stories told in connection with the Sacraments.
