Some years ago there lived a young lad in this locality who thought he was very brave, and boasted that he was not afraid of ghosts.
One dark winter's night as he was returning home from work he became aware of a light following him.
He grew frightened and began to run, but the still pursued him. He ran on and on, till finally, from sheer exhaustion, he was compelled to halt.
At that moment, the light stopped too, and the parish priest's voice was heard saying
