  1. After the battle of Horetown, two of the insurgents were arrested by three yeomen. They tied them on a car and were bringing them on to the for at Duncannon through Ballycullane.
    At that time there was a shop just at the bridge of Mullinderry and the man that owned it was William Reville. The three yeomen went in to get a drink. They came out drunk got up on the car and going up the hill at Cunningham's they saw the well so they got down to get a drink of water.
    They left their guns on the car and one of the prisoners snatched up a gun and shot the three soldiers dead. He loosed his fellow-prisoner and the two of them escaped, the 3 yeomen are buried nearby.
