    Killincooley Urns finds, Contd
that they would put the wind up our friend Connors.
They got a turnip / size of a human skull, scooped it out leaving holes for eyes mouth etc
Then in the hollow turnip they placed a candle lighted and let it down the chimney of a room where he slept. One man "worked" the turnip from the top of the chimney while the "Sound effects" men kept up a sort of infernal orchestra of noises on the outside by rattling Chains & making "Banshee" cries. This so frightened poor Connors that he then & there decided to "shift the darn things" & next morning he proceeded to Mr. Doynes place at wells where he delivered the goods.
