(His father Martin)Long ago there lived men name John and William O Toole. They lived in a thatched house in Coolycarney in the parish of Ballindaggin in the county Wexford. They made pikes for the rebels in 1798. They did their work at night and some one spied upon them and the yoemen made a platform to hang them on in Ballindaggin. An old man named Thomas Hatton who lived in Monalee pleeded for them and they got off free. Then they went out to fight and they fought in Ballyelis and in Ross.
