The Leipreachan is sometimes known as the little red man of the Glens. He is about eighteen in height and wears a red tassel in the top of it. He wears boots with turned up toes and long legs to them. His trousers is black trimmed with red. He lives in the Woods and Valleys and wild places. He is always making and mending shoes and boots. Some people say that long ago when rich men would be going to die they would bury their money and in times of war this was done also. They would ask one of the servants to mind the money for them and if they said they would their Master would shoot them and then they would have to mind it when they were dead because they couldn't break their word and then they would be a(continues on next page)
