    A notorious priest-hunter often called on Judy. One evening in the course of their conservation she gave the game away by some reference to the Mass Rock where Mass was to be celebrated on the following Sunday.
    The priest-hunter whose name was Foster lay in wait for the priest on the following Sunday in a lonely glen in Woodlands. He fired two shots at him but the Priest was lucky enough to escape and continued his journey. Foster who lived in Clonjordan afterwards hanged himself thus fulfilling the priests prophecy "he will die by his own hand and his ghost will haunt Clonjordan until the Mass bells ring
