- 131St Mogue's Well. This famous well has many stories told about it. It was blessed by St. Aidan and there is a sacred fish in it. If any one by accident or otherwise took out the sacred trout and attempted to boil it all the timber in the wood might be burned under the pot but the water would not be heated until the fish was taken out of it and put back again into the well.
