  1. The following was composed by the late Richard Cooper Killabeg about 1868
    Father Dwyer
    Your attention for a moment
    I call upon today
For to tell you of those orange dogs
    How long they're going astray
    We have noble Father Dwyer
    Who's determined in his faith
Who called his flock around him
    Saying 'Remember '98'
Their orange flag we will pull down
    Our glorious band will play
We will let those cursed Sanons see
They will not have their way.
For God he will assist us
    For sworn blood to spill
We will have guns and ammunition boys
    Not like on Vinegar Hill
