She dropped anchor, at Rosemount, in County Wexford, about one hundred yards from Ferrymount-Garret Bridge, and one and a half miles from New Ross. The place she was anchored at, is very narrow, and the crew were all gone to town, and a breeze of wind sprung up at high water, and blew her stern in on a small rock at Rosemount.
When the crew returned, they could not get her off and when the tide fell she turned over and became a complete wreck. She is now lying about a mile further down the river a danger to everything with her masts sticking(continues on next page)- Collector
