    After about a quarter of an hour, the funeral returned, and the "brave" man who fired the shot, ran away.
    He said to his companion, who climbed over the ditch and waited at the other side. "I will not stay here. Those men are not living. They will kill me for firing a shot at them".
    The man, who hid behind ditch, heard the sound of horses' hoofs coming through the cemetery and then stopping. He heard the rattle of spades as if there were people opening a grave and then covering it in again.
    The funeral seemed to pass through the cemetery and out on the road, but,
