- There was a castle in Terrerath and there was a crock of gold hidden under the castle. There was a big bull minding the gold. Three fellows went one night to dig up the gold and when they when they came to the flag over the gold they heard the bull coming roaring and they ran for their lives. So they went to the Priest and told him the story and the Priest told them to put a woolen thread round the castle and wet it with Holy Water and the bull could not get in unless the thread broke. The same fellows came another night and they went into the castle. When they heard the bull coming they ran out and broke the thread and so no one ever went there any more.(continues on next page)
