   Some of the names of the seed potatoes are, Presidents, Aran Banners, Aran Victors, Kerr's Pinks, British Queens. The Aran Banners are the biggest of these potatoes. They are sprayed in October.

   Around here the field is ploughed out of the stubble and then harrowed and the soil made fine. After this drills are made and farmyard manure is put in the drills. The seed is next put in and covered. When they are a month or so sowed the heads are kocked off the drills to let the seed come up. When they are are well up over the ground they are earthed up with a plough and finally sprayed. The
