  2. There are many proverbs heard in this district. Here are some of them :-
    Fine feathers make fine birds,
A rolling stone gathers no moss,
A good beginning is half the work,
A stitch in time saves nine,
Two heads are better than one,
Empthy vessels make the most sound, A little tastes sweet,
Where there is a will there is a way,
    One good turn deserves another,
    Many hands make light work.

  3. A stitch in time saves nine.
Rome was not built in a day.
It is no use crying over spilt milk.
Never leave what you can do today till tomorrow.
    Rolling stones gather no moss.
Many a slip between the cup and the lip.
