  1. A Song (continued)

Hi there old friend of mine to where are you driving that innocent swine

    (continued from previous page)
He had a donkey tied behing as neat as you could see,
I asked him if he'd make a swop or have a deal with me.
T'was then he viewed my donkey, he said he would not suit,
So to close the job I gave five bob that was the price to be
T'was then I closed the bargain with the Tinker from Ardee
    3. Said I unto the Tinker "I'll tell you what I'll do",
"I'll have to get another man this donkey for to judge".
"Well ! Yes you can my decent man and then you'll plainly see,
That you'll ne'er forget the day you met the "Tinker from Ardee".
    4. So I then went for James Fletcher this donkey for to judge,
But when he saw the tinker he was afraid to budge,
He felt the donkey by the neck and said "Jim, his wind his free."
