- Kilmonaghan
Kilmonaghan means the Church of Saint Manchan. It is situated on the road to Clara to the south-east of Tubber Church. There is a medium sized grave-yard on the right-hand side of the road leading from Tubber to Clara. The ruins of Saint Manchan's Church are to be seen yet, the four walls with ivy growing on them. Nobody ever remembers the Church used. Saint Manchan was the Patron Saint of Tubber and Kilmonaghan. He lived in the seventh century in a small cell under Ruadhan(continues on next page)- Collector
