- One night a man was coming down the Hill of Doon, he was riding a bicycle, a black and white dog ran across the road before him, and knocked him off the bicycle. He got a very hard fall and the bicycle was all broken. There were two men standing on the road before him, they did not see the dog, and they were afraid to go back to the man that fell for fear he was killed. It was very strange that he did not even get a scratch. This man got a great fright, and the dog was seen several nights before and after.
