The swallow builds under the eave of a house or on the side of a rafter in a stable. It is from mud she makes the nest. If you watch the swallow on a rainy day you will see her beside a pool of water gathering the mud. When the swallow is seen flying low it is a sign of rain.
The blue - bird builds in a hole in the wall. She is a very small bird, smaller than the robin. The blue - bird has a blue head and a green breast. She is sometimes called the blue - tit.
