  1. Abut fifty years ago Michael Kelly was the mower in the parish of Shinrone.
    He lived at Killmurry cross and it is said that he was able to mow an acre a day.
    About sixty years ago there was a man by the name of Billy Hensey at Spring Park Shinrone. He was supposed to be the best hedgecutter around here.
    It was said that he was able to cut a hundred yards an hour.
