“The Lady Cushlain was a kind of a witch.”
The Lady Cushlain was a kind of a witch. She had a wand with which she could turn any living thing into a stone or rock. One day two men were coming with twelve pigs in two cars, the Lady Cushlain saw them coming with the twelve pigs from the fair at New Ross. With a wave of her wand she turned cars, horses, pigs and all into the river, and they were all drowned. There was another witch living near her, and when she heard this she turned the Lady Cushlain into a rock.- Collector
