- In old times when people had the whooping cough they used to go out under an ass three times, then they would be cured.
For kidney trouble herbs called "queen's gloves" were pounded up in new milk. A cut in the finger was cured by cobwebs. To stop blood moss was also used. To cure a boil water was boiled in a saucepan and put into a bottle and poured on the boil to cure it- Collector
