- There was a big storm of snow about four years ago. It came very suddenly. The night before it came, there was not a sign of snow or storm. When the people got up the next morning there was nothing to be seen but snow.
The storm lasted for four days and no bread could be got in the town. Only the people had in flour they were starved.
The date was February 1933. There was a great deal of damage done to houses and stock. There was a number of houses blown down on farmers and a great amount(continues on next page)- Collector
